We provide individualized care for each infant and toddler in our care. We have 4 infant spots at our current facility, accepting ages 1 month up to 12 months. You can expect our staff to snuggle up with your infant while they feed them their bottles, allow them supervised tummy time, soft plush toys to explore with, and to be changed approximately every 2 hours or sooner (depending on bowel movements). When your child reaches around the age of 6 months they are introduced to puree solid foods that we provide free of charge. When your child reaches the age of one years old they get to move up into another class.

Once your child moves up to the toddler rooms, we have two of them, they still receive their special care. One classroom will provide care to those ages of one years until 1 year 11 months old. In this classroom you can expect these kiddos to practice walking; talking; recognizing favorite songs, and favorite teachers. Children in this group will be exploring the great outdoors. They will also be able to eat and drink unassisted. They will be introduced to structured routines throughout the day. During this age group we like to read lots of books, have gross motor play time, learn our colors while playing with toys, and have an introduction to art materials. We work hard on curbing the bad behaviours such as biting and hitting during this age and utilize sign language with the children in order to help communicate their needs.

In our second classroom for toddlers, this will focus on the ages of two years up to 2 years 11 months. This age will begin to have more structured routines that begin after breakfast time. Children in this age group can help clean up after themselves from meals, brush their teeth with minimal assistance, and begin a tailored curriculum for 2 year olds. They will continue to explore the great outdoors regularly, explore more art materials, learn proper handling of books (i.e. not ripping them) and will continue to work on their language skills. If your child is still non-verbal we will continue to encourage them to vocalize their needs but will still utilize sign language to meet their needs. If families are working on potty training at this stage of life, we will continue to work with you and your child in mastering the skill.
